Are you facing many trials?
Burdened down with many a care?
Does your path seem unknown to God?
Do you question if He is there?

Does it seem God doesn’t answer,
And the trials will never end?
Could it be that God is working,
As your faithful Father, and Friend?

God often allows life’s trials,
To draw us closer to His side.
He wants to be Lord of our life;
To truly be our Friend and Guide.

When we fight the trials He sends,
Instead of yielding to His hand,
We go from one test to the next,
And His love, we don’t understand!

How great the peace He longs to give,
If we would just run back to Him!
How great God’s love, as He draws us;
Even though the process seem grim.

When we allow Him to be Lord,
And work in His own perfect way,
We’ll see His pow’r, goodness and hand,
As we walk with Him, day by day.

So fear not the trials God sends;
Neither fight; but learn to be still.
Seek Him with all your heart’s desire,
And yield to Him all your will.

These trials, our God seems to give,
Are truly meant for our best!
We can trust Him, Who’s ever true,
And find in Him, our soul’s rest.
