While she sits on the sidelines willingly;

busy with works on the ground,

a powerful sheen is about her

and in secret,

she is known as Strawberry Brown.

Everyone she meets is compelled

to compare her to the brightest

strawberry blonde in town,

but her quiet mission is so unheard of;

so stupendously strawberry brown.

And like a daydream,

strangers sing praises

of the mild Strawberry Brown;

until she wakes to see

heads turning,

toward a far more interesting sound.

Regardless, she is not obsessed;

not like a wanton King adores his crown.

She will forever

name The Most High’s Glory;

shining in the eyes

of Strawberry Brown.
