If I were not a Christian,

My days would be relentlessly dark.

My nights would be bound in terror.

How I would cry “Woe is me!”

My soul would weep continuously.

My heart would sink to the lowest of lows…..

My outlook would fill me with fright.

Imagining the future of this world would cause my heart to fail!

Oh how I would fret continuously!

If I were not a Christian,

A foreign spirit would make dead my God song…..

My purpose would be for not.

My feet would fail me!

I would be paralyzed by fear!

My good mood would flee; never to return!

My goals would wax hollow.

All meaning would vanish from my life.

My blood pressure would rise.

My teeth would bleed.

My stomach would A-CH-E!

MY journey would stagnate.

My eternity would be hell-bound……

OH WHAT WOULD I DO WITHOUT YOU OH LORD!?
