HOW BRIGHT IS YOUR LIGHT?
by Lewis E. Thomas HOW BRIGHT IS YOUR LIGHT? Those who know "THE WORD" know this fallen world is full of "SPIRITUAL DARKNESS" and we see it's effects every day!
"SPIRITUAL DARKNESS" was born when Adam and Eve chose to yield to an evil, unholy way!
Spiritual Darkness covers the whole world, yes it's found in every nation and land!
It causes all the "WARS" and evil around the world, with "MAN KILLING MAN"!
Satan is the source of this darkness and it's very easy to SPOT and FIND!
Just turn on the news and you see the results of this darkness, as people commit all kinds of evil "CRIMES"!
God calls all Christians to do this one thing!
We are to let our light "SHINE" in this darkness for the "KING of kings"!
Every Christian is commanded to keep their "LIGHT" shining "BRIGHT" 24/7!
We are to be "BEACONS OF LIGHT" in this world of "SPIRITUAL DARKNESS", helping the spiritually lost find their way to "HEAVEN"!
If you are a Christian, how bright is your light "SHINING" for God today?
If God took a look at your "HOLY WALK" just what would He say?
Are you like the Wise Virgins who kept their lamps full of oil so that they were always SHINING BRIGHT"?
Or have you become like one of the foolish Virgins who let their lamp "GO OUT" in the "DARKNESS OF THE NIGHT"?
We Christians all have relatives, co-workers, neighbors, and friends who walk in spiritual darkness as lost slaves to "SIN".
Do they see our "LIGHT" shining for Jesus in a way that will lead them to be "BORN AGAIN"?
As Christians, have we let worldly and carnal things dim our light down until only a flicker of holy light within us remains?
If so, don't we "REALIZE" that when God sees our light growing dim that it causes Him great grief and pain?
It causes God "GREAT PAIN" when He sees our light going out, so ponder that thought well!
It grieves Him "GREATLY" because He knows that we and those who were watching our light are going to miss Heaven and "END UP" in Hell.
How bright is your light...?
