Oh Lord, I see him strolling,

gazing at the water,

with sand between his toes,

and wonder if he’s dreaming of me,

along the shoreline,

and everywhere else he goes.

Please talk to him, Oh Lord.

We need your intervention fast,

he has turned off his ear to reason;  

much like our bleeding past!

OH Lord, will You please appeal to him,

because You’re the only one who can,

like days gone by when he shouted loudly,

stormed out and my make-up ran.

I pray he hears Your Voice, oh Lord!

Please instruct him on my behalf;

I long to be sweetly cherished by him,

even to the shrill piercing of my laugh.

Oh Lord, You know day and night,

night and day, I adore him,

for he’s the one you made for me;

please talk to him in regard

of these things LORD,

I know You will not abhor my plea!

Oh Lord, I know You have every answer,

and in every argument the wisest of words,

please speak to his spirit and confirm for him Lord,

that it really was Your Voice he heard.

And if it turns out there is nothing he will allow,

and refuses Your Work in him,

than impute to me Your Words of peace,

to keep the light of my love

from growing dim......AMEN.
