For You,

my love,

it grows faster,

than the sweetest flowers in June;

it sets my heart on high,

like the angels’ perfect tune.

For You,

my love is more open,

than a lovely flower

on its finest day;

linked closely to life in Heaven,

but will never wither away.

For You,

my love has more beauty,

than bright flowers heighten the song;

captivated with design and pattern,

practically all the day long.

And like a flower doesn’t fail to grow wider,

my heart opens before my King,

with shining colors,

does He water them;

quickly larger than any given thing.

AND,

like June flowers line pretty sidewalks,

He stands and lingers at my door,

His LOVE taking me high like Zion,

over this most stunning metaphor.

For the Love my Father’s Showers,

each day, do indeed glow,

as sure as a new song arises,

and sure as pretty flowers do grow.
