BORN AGAIN: Fishers of Men
by linzy bruno

“Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” (Matthew 4:19)

“So you were born of flesh and blood,

and that’s a very good thing,

but so was everyone in this world,

and not all live under His Wing.

For there’s only way to live in His Fortress,

and that is faith in His Son,

eternal life comes to those born again;

in Jesus THE Christ,

ALL are One.

So shout it loud to all peoples,

in all ways big and small,

for Jesus is knocking on countless doors,

and I implore you to answer His Call…

Because just being born cannot save you,

only faith He puts deep within;

that’s what Jesus calls being born again

a washing that cleans away sin.

Without soap He does cleanse

all who love HIM,

thick with the trappings of mud,

for to bring in the atonement;

sparkling white in Pure Blood.

OH what a holy simulation

remaining ready forever when;

to lead wandering souls in forever,

for Jesus calls us

 “Fishers of men.”

So, you were born of flesh and blood,

and that’s a very good thing,

but so was everyone in this world,

and not all live under His Wing.”

“Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, Oh You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,” (Psalm 17:7-8)

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews. This man came to Jesus by night and said to Him, “Rabi, we know that You are a teacher come from God; for no one can do these signs that You do unless God is with him.”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”

Jesus answered, “most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”

Nicodemus answered and said to Him, “How can these things be?”

Jesus answered and said to him, “Are you the teacher of Israel, and do not know these things? Most assuredly I say to you, We speak what We know and testify what We have seen, and you do not receive Our witness. If I have told you earthly things and you do not believe, how will you believe if I tell you heavenly things?.....” (John 3:1-12, but Jesus’ rebuke continues to verse 21)

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28)

“Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me.” (Revelation 3:20)

But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the alter to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’” (Leviticus 17:11)
