My Father Knows Me

Though others may not understand

The things I do or say,

I trust in my good Father's Hand

To guide me day by day.

His love encompasses my faults;

His faith assails my fears,

Through all my trials I am assured

That joy will follow tears.

His pure light dispels the shadows

In the corners of my life,

As He shows me how to free myself

From foolish pain and strife.

He understand my weaknesses,

He lifts me up to see

That though I feel I have no worth, 

He has a Plan for me.

My Father knows me as I am.

His Love is infinite.

Following Him, I have sweet peace--

There is no end to it.
