‘Ladies and gentlemen, may I have your attention please?’
The speaker quiets a noisy room with the query.
‘I have an important announcement.’
The inquisitive group waits and listens attentively.
Hear ye, hear ye; God has given His children a divine proclamation to share.
Proclaim His praises.
“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy (1 Peter 2:9-10 HCSB).”
May I have your attention please? God has given me an important message to share.
“Everything is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: That is, in Christ, God was reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed the message of reconciliation to us. Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, certain that God is appealing through us. We plead on Christ’s behalf, ‘Be reconciled to God.’ He made the One who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (2 Corinthians 5:18-21 HCSB).”
