SALVATION REQUIRES SURRENDER
by linzy bruno

Salvation is more than merely

saying the words,

as the heart may remain strangely unshaken,

but if one succumb to the surrender,

there is birth anew,

and a hope never to be forsaken.

(Galatians 5:24-25 & John 3:3)

And because God is a gentleman,

He Graciously waits to change hearts,

for change rises up in the soul,

then gloriously He brands a new creature;

shiny and brimming,

with a holy new set of goals.

(Matthew 11:28-30 & 2Corinthians 5:17)

For we love Him

because He first loved us,

and so His Precious Blood was shed;

and poured on us for cleansing,

if we let Him change us

and believe ALL He has said.”

(1John 4:19 & 1John 1:7)

“Yes, tis’ true, it doth begin in the mind,

because He is Patient and true to His Call,

and then we either respond in love

or erect a dense,

and possibly unwavering wall.”

(John 6:4 & Ephesians 4:18-19)

“Well okay, but whom doth He call?”

Asked a third party;

rising among those who did heed.

“He calls those He knows will be His;

the spiritually born of Abraham’s Seed.

(Romans 8:29 & Galatians 3:29)

For God is all-knowing,

and even before time,

of your salvation

He did indeed know,

and due to His Lovingkindness to save,

He Wills and inspires,

His Holy Kingdom to grow.

(Matthew 28:18-20)

Therefore for anyone proclaiming Him;

he is not saved,

unless his willing heart abides.

Therefore heed this simple,

yet serious word,

and allow His Spirit to overtake you inside.”

(Matthew 25:11-12)
