SHOW YOUR GLORY THROUGH ME!
by linzy bruno

God will heal in accordance with His Will,

and not necessarily right away.

And those who love Him

are willing to wait;

regardless of what people might say.

So God, I submit;

let me suffer, if so in Your Will for my soul,

and I will wait for Your Deliverance

without condition,

no matter how grueling the toll.

For I want Your Reality to become undeniable,

Oh Lord, let Your Glory to shine through me!

And expose Yourself,

even to those,

who for many years,

have not been able to see.

And I know that my suffering

produces steadfastness;

oh please help me pass my test!

And I will be patient

while I long for

that great moment,

when You grant divine favor and rest.

And I know that trials produce sweet fruit,

those that invite victory

and deflect from the mad;

so it’s worth what it takes

though the road is hard,

for triumph is soon to be had!

Oh Lord, I give You ALL of my praise.

All Glory is Yours.

And I know,

in good times and bad

You’re all I need;

Oh Lord, set Your

Mercies to flow!

And furthermore,

we who love Him are promised a future

when His Glory we will wear atop our head,

the ‘unfading crown’

of purity and humility,

for that is what the Bible has said.

“Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. And His disciples asked Him, “Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?” Jesus answered, “Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.” (John 9:1-3)

“In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials,” (1Peter 1:6)

“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you;” (1Peter 4:12)

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen and settle you. (1Peter 5:10)

“But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.”  (Isaiah 40:31)

“My brethren count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” (James 1:2-4)

“Therefore I endure all things for the sake of the elect, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.”  (2Timothy 2:10)

And not only that, but we also glory in tribulation, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.” (Romans 5:3-4)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. For those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 5:22-24)

“and when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the crown of glory that does not fade away.” (1Peter 5:4)
