There’s not a single moment

without which I crave the life-giving Breath

of my LORD.

He instills me with temperance

in which He turns and aligns me toward.

And whence I turn toward Him,

and feel His Breath on my face

so Divine;

I shout, my LORD Jesus,

You are The Source

for which every inch of my soul

must align!

For aside my Lifeline

Christ Jesus my LORD,

would only leave me in fatal turmoil;

trembling in fear without my sword.

Because oh LORD,

not so very far from

every little whimper,

and most especially every sigh;

I am merely a heartbeat away from upheaval,

and I thank God

that I didn’t just die.

Oh Jesus, my LORD,

thank You that You’re my Lifeline,

and even my life after Friend;

always with me every time I seek You

in uneasy moments to transcend.

Therefore, I pray every moment

I will choose Your Breath on my beaming face,

to turn me before Your pleasing Countenance,

in which nothing can displace.
