As a child, I was eager to share secrets and the latest news with my friends. Am I telling friends what God has done for me?
The Father adopted me into His family; I’m God’s child.
“For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, ‘Abba! Father (Romans 8:15 NASB)!”
God's children should be eager to praise Him in prayer and brag on Him to others. How can I find the right words?
I have found them in many of the Psalms. I've experienced some of the same emotional highs of exaltation as well as lows of despondency and despair.
Nothing is hidden from God; am I honest with Him?
I can always praise Him!
“Praise the Lord! Praise Him, you servants of the Lord, Praise the name of the Lord. Blessed be the name of the Lord From this time on and forever. From the rising of the sun to its setting, The name of the Lord is to be praised. The Lord is high above all nations; His glory is above the heavens.
Who is like the Lord our God, Who is enthroned on high, Who looks far down to The heavens and the earth (Psalm 113:1-6 NASB).”
