LORD, LORD! Mathew 7:21-23

LORD, LORD! MATTHEW 7:21-23

I've heard comments aimed at Christians who attend Church only on Sunday mornings!
Saying that those who attend Church "3" times a week, love God more, and as a result I offer up this "WARNING"!

Church attendance "alone" does not "PROVE" that one "TRULY" loves the KING of kings!
One can be "FAITHFUL" in Church attendance three times a week, "WHILE" living like the "WORLD", doing evil and "UNHOLY THINGS"!

Jesus spoke about those who have a form of godliness, while denying the power thereof!
Those who walk and live in the "FLESH" from day to day, trampling upon God's grace and his AWESOME" love! Hebrews 10:26-31

The book of 1st John spells out clearly what the actions and deeds of a "TRUE" Christian will be!
One's love for God is "not proven" by Church attendance alone, but by "LIVING" in total obedience to God, for "ALL" the world to see!

The Scribes and Pharisees in Jesus' day were in God's Temple/House pretty much "EVERY DAY"!
Yet, Jesus "DISPISED THEM", calling them HYPOCRITES, VIPERS and SERPENTS, see Matthew 23 for everything Jesus had to say!

One can be faithful in Church attendance and be "SPIRITUALLY UNSOUND"!
And be like the "UNPROFITABLE SERVANT" in Matt 25 who buried his Talent in the ground!

One can be faithful in Church attendance and believe they are spiritualy Strong and Devout!
And yet be like unto one of the five foolish Virgins who foolishly let their "LAMP" go out!

If you are banking on your Church Attendance "alone" to get you into Heaven, you had better heed this little rhyme well!
Because one can attend Church every time the doors are "OPEN" and still "GO TO HELL"!

LORD, LORD
