‘Get a grip!’
God made us emotional creatures; yet, at times we let our emotions control us. He never meant for that to happen.
Are you being held by fear's grip?
Anxiety is a cruel taskmaster that seeks to gain control over our thoughts and feelings.
Resist.
“Submit therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7 NASB).”
Free yourself from the deceiver’s grip; turn to the LORD for deliverance.
He is our refuge; the safe place.
“God is our refuge and strength, A very ready help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth shakes And the mountains slip into the heart of the sea; Though its waters roar and foam, Though the mountains quake at its swelling pride. Selah (Psalm 46:1-3 NASB).”
Relax; you’re in safe hands.
“My sheep listen to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me; and I give them eternal life, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. I and the Father are one (John 10:27-30 NASB).”
Trust Him; He’ll never lose His grip.
“If I take up the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, Even there Your hand will lead me, And Your right hand will take hold of me (Psalm 139:9-10 NASB).”
