He Said Always
by PamFord Davis

Does anything last forever? Baby boomers remember when things were made to last; owners cared for their items. Repairs were worth the effort and cost. TV repairman made an honest living and made house calls when needed. The majority of marriage commitments lasted too. Words like always and forever really meant something.

The depths of commitments are measured by time. Vows and hearts break easily with little to do but pick up the pieces. Bitter, the heartbroken soon settle for temporary arrangements. Binding marriage covenants have been replaced with no strings attached arrangements.

We must guard our hearts against bitterness. Some things do last.

God’s commitments are forever.

I can trust the LORD to keep His promises.

JESUS will ALWAYS be with me.

“And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age (Matthew 28:18-20 NASB).”

He promises to be with you always.

Trust Him.
