Our Partial Love

Father, You love us more
than we love you,
and as long as we cling
to the things of this world
our love for you will always be partial.

Please break our addiction
to always be better than the Jones,
and give us the ability to grasp instead
the understanding and full appreciation
what Jesus did for us on the cross.
