Hidden deep within our spirits,
dwells knowledge of a Heavenly space;
God put it there to commune with us,
one in all, the human race.

That spirit from our God;
He promises will illuminate our path
and when we get knocked off
that's due to Satan's wrath.

But, even in those everyday moments,
that can seem oh so mundane;
no matter how I feel,
Jesus' nearness
prevents evils gain.

So press into joy!
Press into peace!
Press and press
and don't you ever cease!

Keep holding on,
your strength is in that joy
He alone brings.
So just keep pressing
all you everyday people,
emperors and kings.
