Functional roots will never fail to support a tree to perform its function of bearing fruits. When the roots can access the necessary moisture and all other nutrients needed by a tree, it will manifest in its leaves and fruitfulness.

Every person who plants a good tree expects good fruits and abundantly too.

Do you know that bearing fruits is one thing but bearing the right fruits is another thing entirely? Every owner of a tree will be happy to receive the expected fruits but he will be disappointed if it turns otherwise.

This was the complaint of the Lord about His people, Israel.

He made all things needed by His vineyard available satisfactorily. Nothing was lacking to them. They had all things enough. On the other hand, the trees of the Lord disappointed Him.
Isaiah 5:4,7
_[4]What more could have been done to My vineyard That I have not done in it? Why then, when I expected it to bring forth good grapes, Did it bring forth wild grapes?_
_[7]For the vineyard of the Lord of hosts is the house of Israel, And the men of Judah are His pleasant plant. He looked for justice, but behold oppression; For righteousness, but behold, a cry for help. Impending Judgment on Excesses_

As it was, so it is. People of God today have unrestricted access to the Lord, His Word, and His provisions. The Lord expects the best from His people. On the other hand, His expectations fail because His people still disappoint Him. Beloved, are you one of His people? Has He not made available what you need? He has all that you need if you are well-rooted in Him. You cannot lack anything. Then if this is true of you, how are your fruits? Are they up to specifications? Do they not contradict what is expected? Do you bear the right fruits?
If you do, continue bearing them and the Lord will reward you bountifully. On the other hand, if you are not bearing the right fruits, judgment is looming. He will pay everyone according to his work or fruit bearing. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
