It’s virtually impossible to know all the laws in America’s States and Federal legal system. Confused? You’re in good company.
Are you a lawbreaker?
Ignorance of the law will not dissuade the judge. I could wring my hands, weep, stammer or plead. Yet, the judicial system would still hold me accountable.
Typically, most are prideful. It’s easier to find fault with the law than with ourselves. None of us want to admit our ignorance.
“And the person who keeps every law of God but makes one little slip is just as guilty as the person who has broken every law there is (James 2:10 TLB).”
Ignorance is no excuse.
"Where there is ignorance of God, the people run wild; but what a wonderful thing it is for a nation to know and keep his laws (Proverbs 29:18 TLB)!"
Spiritual ignorance is a global problem.
Here comes the judge!
"And I saw another angel flying through the heavens, carrying the everlasting Good News to preach to those on earth-to every nation, tribe, language and people.’Fear God,' he shouted, 'and extol his greatness. For the time has come when he will sit as Judge. Worship him who made the heaven and the earth, the sea and all its sources (Revelation 14:6-7 TLB).”
