An Essential Service 6

In A Few Words

John 4:28-29
[28]The woman then left her waterpot, went her way into the city, and said to the men,
[29]“Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”NKJV.

This is the step taken by a Samarian woman who had a direct encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ during His Earthly Ministry. She heard the truth from Someone Who "never knew" her. She didn't know that He was her Creator and knew all things about her.

After that encounter, she could not hold her peace. She went into her city to inform the men to come to Jesus. She did this in a few words, "[29]“Come, see a Man who told me all things that I ever did. Could this be the Christ?”, John 4.

In this instance, no room for needless argument. The statement is short. She did employ a sugar coated mouth to bring the men to Jesus Christ. A short testimony did the job and the Holy Spirit completed the rest.

Do you want to know the final outcome? The Holy Scriptures disclose,
"[39]And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.”
[40]So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days."

Please, pay attention to the words, "And many of the Samaritans of the city believed in Him."
What did this was a few words of testimony from a woman.

Do you know that this Essential Service you can also render in a few words of your personal experience with the Lord? You have the words in your mouth. Don't keep quiet. Tell others about your experience with the Lord. By this, you can bring many from your household, environment, place of work and city to the Lord. Begin today and you will be glad you did and be bountifully rewarded. The Lord is coming soon. Shalom!
