A True Encounter 4
"[16]Come and hear, all you who fear God, And I will declare what He has done for my soul.
[17]I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.
18]If I regard iniquity in my heart, The Lord will not hear." Psalm 66.

The above words belong to the Psalm Writer of Israel. He had a meaningful and successful encounter with the Lord. He had a true and practical experience in his dealings with the Lord, his God. It was real.

He called upon Him in his trying times, and the Lord exalted His holy name in his life. He appreciated what his God did. He could not keep it to himself. He shared his testimony with others. He exposed the goodness of God to them.

He invited them to "come and hear" It is not an exaggeration to say that he "pleaded" with them to lend him their ears to listen to the Lord's goodness to him.

He magnified the name of the Lord with his tongue because he valued how He satisfied his soul.

Be like the Psalmist, do not keep what God has done for you to yourself only. That is not good enough. You can share it with others so that they might glorify God with you. Your testimony of being free from any iniquity to receive miracles from your Heavenly Father is enough to encourage them to join you in trusting and worshipping the Lord your God.

Therefore, do not keep quiet. Tell people you come across about the goodness of God. He has been good to you. He is ready to show His goodness to others who embrace His Words.
The Lord is coming soon.
