I Can

Is a low self-image holding you back?

Timidity and shyness robs us of friendships; lessens opportunities for leadership and ministry as well. It stunts our spiritual growth. Feeling inferior, with a perceived superiority of others; we'll have a distorted image.

A group of Hebrew men were sent ahead to investigate the Promised Land. The majority might have been remembered as trailblazers; instead, they faltered in faith. In contrast, Joshua and Caleb stood faithful.

Caleb knew his weakness but boldly declared God’s strength and power. The majority’s response revealed their lack of faith and distorted view of themselves and the enemy.

"But the men that went up with him said, 'We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.' And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel (Numbers 13:31-32a KJV)."

Having a low self image, they shared a negative report.

"And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight Numbers 13:33 KJV)."

Who do YOU think you are?

"For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he (Proverbs 23:7a KJV)."

Through faith, YOU are a child of God.

He is opening doors; take His hand and believe His promises.

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me (Philippians 4:13 KJV)."
