I asked God on my way into town today to put someone in my path I could minister to. My wife and I ate at Bojangles and I ended up in a conversation with the manager. I talked to her about why haven't any political leaders called on all Americans to pray that God would send rain on California to stop the fires? I said I believe if millions started praying for mercy on California that God "WOULD" send rain to put the fires out. I talked to her about the different kinds of storms we go through in life. I told her I had a cap that read, "Jesus is the anchor of my soul".

I told her that if we are anchored spiritually to Jesus and God that when our life begins to go through terrible things and times of suffering, that being anchored to Jesus will keep us from turning to alcohol, drugs, or suicide! That our hope and faith in Jesus will sustain us through all our suffering! I gave her one of my Christian poetry link cards.

I didn't know it but others were listening to what I told the manager!

When we started out the exit door, a woman who had eaten there too spoke to me and said she enjoyed what I had said to the manager. She said she wished more Christians would witness like I did. She said she was a Christian too. I gave her one of my Christian Poetry link cards also.

We Christians should "PRAY" for daily opportunities to witness to the "LOST" in hopes of pointing someone to Jesus Christ who died for us all, on that OLD RUGGED CROSS.
