"And Jacob said to them, “My brethren, where are you from?” And they said, “We are from Haran.” Genesis 29:4.
"Then he said, “Look, it is still high day; it is not time for the cattle to be gathered together. Water the sheep, and go and feed them. ” 29:9.

A man's interaction has a direct effect on what and what will happen to him and his journey of life. On his way to Haran, Laban's abode, Jacob met certain men who were shepherds near a well.

The first thing he did was to greet them. This helped Jacob to attract their attention to himself so that he could inquire about the man he was sent to, that is Laban. This means that he had good human relations. This helped him to get answers to his praprayersNot only that, he was blessed with words seasoned with salt(). To demonstrate his love for the unknown men, he proudly called them, "My brethren." and they addressed him also with joy. His questions about Laban were answered happily.

Do you know what? Jacob showed interest in their occupation by offering them unsolicited counsel about how to take care of the flock, although the counsel was rejected. Yet, the truth remains that he sounded and appeared as a sincere "brebrothere introduced himself to be.

Beloved, although Jacob prayed, consider what followed it. This means everyone who prays must add something good to it. Jacob appreciated this and he explored it. You can do likewise to reap great rewards. Stay blessed and prepared for the imminent coming of the Lord.
