"For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?” Esther 4:14.

To God be the glory who has given us the Scriptures for almost all things. There are lots to learn and benefit from.

The righteous will indeed be bold like a lion, (Proverbs). These words are true as demonstrated by Mordecai, Queen Esther's uncle, who brought her up as his daughter.

When it was decreed that all. Jews were to be annihilated, Mordecai ran to his daughter, Esther to seek a way out by going to the King for a reversal of the law but the hope looked uncertain because the king had not called Esther for the past month.

This was not an acceptable excuse from the Queen to Esther. That was the reason he told her the words that opened this write-up.

Do you know that Mordecai was sure of what he said? Yes! It was in Chapter four that he said those words of hope to Esther but in Chapter six, an act in memorial opened up.

What was it?

A past act of kindness to the king himself would have saved all the Jews.

What was it?

"And it was found written that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king’s eunuchs, the doorkeepers who had sought to lay hands on King Ahasuerus." Esther 6:4.

He reported a coup de(detat) against the king which was investigated by the authorities to be found to be not only true but no honor was bestowed on him directly.

This would have become an avenue for him to ask for the life of his life and those of his people,

Beloved, do you have anything good in memorial before the King of kings and the Lord of lords? Begin today because in this life, you will be rewarded, and in the coming life, eternity.
