His green almond eyes upon me, Seeming never, ever to close. His shiny, sleekly soft black fur And his ever so unpretentious purr Make up just one of his many sides Crafty camouflage , under which his true nature hides I wonder what he thinks of, As following me he goes. His green almond eyes upon me, Seeming never, ever to close. His true nature is one of keenness, That goes with his nasty meow, His true nature is one of meanness, I sense it's presence now. I wonder what he thinks of, As following me he goes. His green almond eyes upon me, Seeming never, ever to close. The end to this game Is very near. I have pushed my luck a little, A little far I fear. This cat is very wicked, Upon that you may rely, I must hurry quickly, Or I shall surely die. I wonder what he thinks of, As following me he goes.
