EVIDENCE OF GOD

A common reason given for not believing is that there isn't any proof of God and when a believer asks "How do you think we got the Bible?" Many reply that the Bible was written by men, and many of them, therefore, it's really not reliable as the truth; they may even claim it was all made up. They believe it's either the writers got it ALL wrong or it's all just fantasy.

However, believers can then explain that the Bible reveals just how it came to be, that it was written by over 40 different men, with a 400 year gap and over a 1500 year span. The truth is that this fact shows the Word of God as even more miraculous and awe-inspiring, not as a disparagement of the Truth, as we read in 2Timothy 3:16-18--

"All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work."

Furthermore, we can also explain that the manner in which the Scripture was taken down on scrolls by the scribes was painstaking and perfection was of the utmost importance, as the linked article below illustrates in this excerpt....

"The Jewish sopherim, or scribes, held such a high regard for the Scriptures as the Word of God that they regarded the copying of any error as a sin. No imperfection, no matter how small, was tolerated." (helpmewithbiblestudy.org)

These scribes were present during the witness of Christ and it was these men that wrote down the Words of Jesus, His Disciples and others who were present, hence, we have the written Word of God recorded in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

Therefore, to understand these scribes as they appear in the Gospels is to understand how the Bible came to be.

Now we have identified two facts that point to the Bible being true.

The third bit of evidence we can cite is that of creation. The very fact that we have this world, with all it's wonder and beauty like the majestic mountains, beautiful valleys, streams, trees and flowers, the animal kingdom and the oceans, demonstrates God's Supernatural Power and love for all of the earth and mankind:

"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse," (Romans 1:20)

Now for number four, inasmuch as God reveals Himself to us, believers can win souls by the disclosing of their own witness/testimony for Christ:

By Faith We Understand

"Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible." (Hebrews 10:27, Also see John 8:32 & 16:13)

As we walk with the Lord, day by day, we are afforded experiences with our Creator in a highly personal manner; we feel His Presence, experience answered prayers, while He guides us and we even hear His Voice, (as well as spiritual distance during times of unrepentant sin (See Psalm 32:3)--

"My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me."
(John 10:27)

And, moreover, we can witness through sharing with the unsaved, the hope that is in us:

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear;" (1Peter 3:15)

And finally for number five, in these End Times the signs of Jesus' soon return are all around us, which we can site to others as a witness of the Truth:

Perilous Times--Matthew 24

The Coming Antichrist--We can clearly see the set-up for this, after they completely tear down America, they will bring in one man to fix it all, as we learn in Daniel 9:27

Convergence--Matthew 24:8

Israel (God's Prophetic Timepiece)--The set-up for the Ezekiel 38-39 war, going on now and the Prophecy of Damascus in Isaiah 17:1 on the verge...)

Evil Taking Over Government And The World At Large--This list is too endless and easily seen through observation; the forcing of vaccines on all Americans, but the illegal immigrants get a pass, just for one example (See Ephesians 5:6 & 1John 5:19)

Lies And Other Trickery & Evil--The media and all the other powers that be are capable only of lies and deception these day, due to Satan's influence and God's turning them over to a debased mind (See Romans 1:28-30, 1John 4:1, 1Timothy 4:1, 2Corinthians 11:3, 2Corinthians 4:4 & Colossians 2:8)

Satanism On The Rise--Satanists are now using their "religious rights" to fight for what they want. They are fighting for abortion for their "church" in Texas, as one example of this new trend (1John 4:1 & 5:19)

The Great Apostasy Of The Church--The Lukewarm church that accepts everyone in the name of Jesus, instead of teaching them about repentance for sin is taking over. They are allowing and even celebrating LGBTQ ideology and promoting female, lesbian pastors and transgenders to lead their churches (See 2Timothy 4:3-4 & 2Corinthians 11:3)

Mockers & Scoffers--2Peter 3:3-4 is happening now

Lawlessness/Defunding The Police--They are bringing down our entire system of law and order in order to bring in the global changes that they are foaming at the mouth to make happen; changes that will end America and the freedom in which she stands and usher in the global take over....(See 2Corinthians 11:3 & 1John 5:19)

The Control this government is quickly acquiring through the evil use of fear that will soon segway into the One World Order is gaining momentum! (But we who know the Lord are safe and sound in His Capable Hands until the Glorious Day He takes us in the Rapture.)

Moreover, if we love Jesus, we will naturally want to win souls for Him. It's not about point-scoring, but the Love of God calling the unsaved into relationship with Himself through faith in Christ. God wants all of His children to live with Him in Paradise one fine day; not willing that any should perish--

"The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance." (2Peter 3:9)

The soul-winning system God uses is done primarily through believers, for He has Called His people to spread the Good News of the Gospel, as is recorded in Matthew 28:18-20--

"And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen."

Jesus also referred to evangelism in another way, by telling His disciples He would make them "fishers of men" in Matthew 4:19)

Further to this end, it may also help to remind the unsaved that this life is temporary, and thus, will come to an end, either through natural death of the body or through our Lord's Rescue of all True believers, as we read in 1Thessalonians 4:13-18). And when that day comes we will all stand before Him, either in shame or in great rejoicing and in awe and wonder.

And when that day comes there will no longer be a comfortable place to rest in denial and follow one's own desires and self-made reality.

This, therein lies the very definition of hell: permanent separation, and eternal regret in unending torment. Fire and darkness; burning in agony forever and ever, that describes hell....

But in Heaven the saints will serve our Lord and Master and enjoy never-ending joy and peace.

It All Comes Down To Choice, As God Declares In Deuteronomy --

"I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;" (Deuteronomy 30:19)
