Loyalty.

Loyalty.
Loyalty is a very powerful word that means much in maintaining a relationship. This seven letters word has elevated many people in life and lack of this word in others have not only relegated them but has totally destroyed them.

It is a desire of friends from friends. It is desired in a family. It is needed in every facet of human relationship.
However, it is salient to whoever wants to be loyal to consider where he wants to INVEST his loyalty because it is crucial to what will take place now and in the future. Loyalty is comparable to a seed that is sown, it will germinate, grow and bring forth fruits in multiples. Note that where you sow it matters.
For instance, how nice is loyalty profitable in marriage? It is good for lovers in a home to be loyal to each other. It can take the family to places.

Yes, it does.

Now, let us consider a family from the Scriptures who were loyal to each other and got their rewards.
Manoah and his wife were loyal to God of Israel and each other although they were childless for a long time. At the end of the day, they were blessed with a son who was a Nazarite, Samson. He was a deliverer of God's people for twenty years. Judges Chapters 13-16.
On the other hand, a couple also were loyal to each other only and not the Lord.

They conspired to deceive the Holy Spirit in respect of what they owned but decided to give a part to the people of God. It is not giving a part that is the problem but lying that it is the whole money that they have brought to the Lord.( Acts 5:1-11)

Where do you place your loyalty, God or man? Which comes first in rankings?
One of the loyal servants of King Saul was his armour bearer. He was loyal to the king in every sense of the word. When his boss started to disobey God, he was with him, still loyal. When the Lord rejected Saul from being a king over Isreal, his armour bearer was loyal still to the king.

When evil spirit from the Lord started troubling the king, the servant was there for the king as a loyal man.
During the period king Saul was pursuing David to destroy the man after the heart of God, king Saul's armour bearer was readily available to him as a loyal servant.

Finally, on the day of reckoning, the Holy Bible reveals, "Then Saul said to his armour bearer, 'Draw your sword, and thrust me through with it,lest these uncircumcised men come and thrust me through and abuse me.'
But his armour bearer would not, for he was greatly afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword and fell on it. And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, he also fell on his sword, and died with him" 1 Samuel Chapter 30:4-5.

REFLECTION.
To whom are you loyal? Is your loyalty to God, your Maker and ALL His things? Is your loyalty to those who are placed in certain positions for His glory only? Are you loyal to those people who are seeking only the GOOD OF GOD'S PEOPLE, like Mordecai (Esther 10:3. and Nehemiah(Neh.5:19,13:14,22)?

Reconsider your way if you are working and walking at cross purposes with the Lord. Destruction is at the end of the tunnel for anyone doing anything to obstruct the ways and things God has for His people. It cannot be well with anyone who leads or is led from the camp of God's enemies.
Repent today because tomorrow may be too late for you. Decamp to the camp of the Lord and it shall be well with you.

SALVATION MESSAGE: In case you just "stumble"on this piece and you do not know your Creator or you have been so far deceived with one religion or the other, I am happy to inform you that TODAY is the appointed time to be reconciled with your Maker.
*Accept the truth that you are a sinner and cannot help yourself.
*Confess all your sins to the Lord Jesus Christ and ask Him to forgive you, He will surely do.
*Ask the Lord to occupy and control your heart forever.
*Request Him to fill you with His Holy Spirit to with you forever.
* Obtain a copy of the Holy Bible for daily reading and application for great benefits.
*Join an assembly of God's children where the Scripture is held in high esteem for fellowship and growth.
May the Lord help you to walk with Him for the rest of your life in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
