The Result is the Same!

If anyone serves Me, he must continue to follow Me [to cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying] and wherever I am, there will My servant be also. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.--John 12:26, AMPC

The sheep that are My own hear and are listening to My voice; and I know them, and they follow Me.--John 10:27, AMPC

Follow Christ, and He Will Make a Way for You to Glorify Him!

Whatever you are doing in life (worshiping, working, serving, exercising, eating, relaxing...!), relax in your unique way of accomplishing things, especially if the result is the same as your intent to glorify God in some way! While I don't believe in "the ends justify the means," know that, when you follow God, He will make a way one way or another--and He can make miracles, even from our mistakes!

And whatever you do [no matter what it is] in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus and in [dependence upon] His Person, giving praise to God the Father through Him.--Colossians 3:17, AMPC

It's OK to think differently. Really! If people don't like it when you think differently--and still get the desired result--then it's almost because your unique way of thinking makes them uncomfortable. It is threatening to them. Unfortunately, it makes them afraid, and people do weird things when they're afraid.

Be assured that I am never condoning or approving anything that is against God and His Word (and He and His Word are One!)! No, never!

What I am talking about in thinking differently is following Jesus Christ, the all-knowing, all-powerful, Creator of Heaven and earth, Elohim!

We must understand that, as Believers in Christ saved by our faith in what the Blood of Jesus did for us on the Cross over 2,000 years ago (and God the Father gave us the faith to believe, through His Holy Spirit, and also gave us Jesus, His only pure and perfect Son, the spotless Lamb of God; so He gave us everything needed to be saved from hell and for Heaven, and helped us to believe and receive liberty and restoration to HIm! Hallelujah!)

But My servant Caleb, because he has a different spirit in him and has followed Me fully, I will bring into the land where he went, and his descendants shall inherit it.—Numbers 14:24, NKJV

You Are Unique, and It's OK to Think Differently

I use these examples, because the LORD reminded me just today that, although my way of doing things has often been very different than others in getting things done, the result is the same!

As an example, this includes many things in my life, from earning my bachelor's degree (in which, praise the LORD, I earned 25 hours from one course, in which I wrote a book about the life skills I'd earned, and in another way, I earned 33 hours from taking a professional secretarial exam that covered 6 subjects, but which only took and investment of four months and $100. The course and the exam both saved me---Glory to God!--thousands of dollars and at least hundreds of hours! Hallelujah!; to writing books (I write many at a time, and when I write articles like this one, I save them under various books titles--because these many articles); to mowing the lawn; worshiping God; and more.

Jesus Did Things Differently, and Was Cricitized

Jesus did things differently. He often healed people in ways that were unique from the ways He'd done it before! This was very threatening to many, including church leaders of the time. I’ve experienced some of what He did—even from certain church leaders.

We humans can be so hypocritical! It's a wonder any unbeliever ever receives Christ while watching us imperfect Believers!

YUCK.

But (to start a sentence with a conjunction!), that's why, when anyone does get saved; does get healed; does get delivered; does think differently and be creative and positively impact the world, that it is not us, it is always Jesus, the calm, loving, kind, patient, wonderful, confident, gracious Creator, the truly awesome God, the Holy Spirit Who is everywhere and all-knowing and all-powerful Who does it!

We are simply vessels who get to participate in His work!

Of course, we are first God's beloved children, once we truly accept Christ, and we are precious Sons and Daughters who serve Him to help others see and know Him. Sometimes (often?), He has to work in spite of our fallacies--and I'm including myself in that, of course!

How great and gracious is our wonderful, patient, loving Daddy God!

Unlike us, the results Jesus got were always excellent. However, when we keep on asking and submitting ourselves to the LORD’s Spirit and Word, and trusting Him to help us, then He will put His Grace on our efforts, and what He desires to achieve will e done, to His glory, and the benefit of all. Hallelujah!

It’s always a win-win when Jesus is involved!

Ask the Holy Spirit Who is God to Help You Think Differently!

Now, if you think about it (You can ask Him to bring these things to your mind, through the Holy Spirit, Who is our Helper, to help you remember such!), there have probably been at least some ways in your life in which you've thought differently than others to accomplish something, but where the result was the same!

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and Standby), that He may remain with you forever—John 14:16

The LORD is so good! He Who knows all things gives us light (understanding and wisdom and knowledge, which is what "revelation" is; the illumining of our hearts and minds to comprehend His ways and purposes), to see how to do something; to know which people to have relationships with, and which to avoid and cease in relationships with (and this can include churches and ministries!); to sense God's true timing for something, even if we've had a vision for the right thing for years (ask me how I know!); how to say the right thing at the right time, in the right way; how to think creatively, differently (which is usually how things get created, and how innovation (the improvement of a product or service) happens; etc.

Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark, but will have the Light which is Life.--John 8:12, AMPC

He is so very good! He is our loving Father, our good Shepherd, Who forever leads us only in right paths, that will give us a better life! His Plans are always good (Jeremiah 29:11; Ephesians 2:10 and 3:20), and Jesus died to give us the abundant life, the Zoe life; days of Heaven on earth; life as God has it (John 10:10)!

Hallelujah!

Let Yourself Dream With God!

Go for it! Let yourself dream; create; think with God (or, rather, let Him think through you!), and enjoy the sublime life! Ask Him to give you unique strategies to accomplish whatever needs to be done. You’ll enjoy the process more, and, the result will be the same—or better!

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not faint or grow weary; there is no searching of His understanding.--Isaiah 40:28, AMPC

I am the Lord, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.--Isaiah 43:15, AMPC

Remember your leaders and superiors in authority [for it was they] who brought to you the Word of God. Observe attentively and consider their manner of living (the outcome of their well-spent lives) and imitate their faith (their conviction that God exists and is the Creator and Ruler of all things, the Provider and Bestower of eternal salvation through Christ, and their leaning of the entire human personality on God in absolute trust and confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness).--Hebrews 13:7, AMPC
