I have not seen
the earth tilt
on its axis
or revolve in
an orbit
around the sun

Nor have I measured
distance from
the earth to this
radiant one

Yet, I believe
earth tilts at twenty
three and a half degrees

I believe earth
revolves three
hundred sixty
five and one forth days

I believe
the sun's about
ninety three
million miles from
our earthly homeland

So, shouldn't
I believe that
at conception in
my body is
a baby
long before it
is born?
