proverbs 4:23 says that you should "guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life .

*your heart is your life
*your heart is to you as the engine is to a car
*you can never go beyond the level of your heart
*your heart determines the direction of your life

another translation puts it this way ".... out of it are the important things of life "
what are we allowing into our hearts?
for what a man sows that shall he reap. we cant keep allowing trash and all of the world 's stuff into our hearts and then expect our lives to bring forth good fruits . (matt 7:17-18)
to see good fruits , we have to sow good seeds into our hearts .
