Good Memories

Good memories are golden
They light up our minds
and warm our hearts
Nestle in our thoughts
tucked away dormant
until needed for another day
A day to remind ourselves
that purpose is to enjoy,
share, love and laugh
A day that tells us to invest
in each other
like reflective mirrors
radiating, doing our best
for when that person is gone
only good memories linger
to share, laugh, love
and reflect.
Good memories,
real treasures,
carry on
