Where did Cains wife come from?

by Tina Leonard

Part One
While sitting in philosophy class talking about Socrates, my mind began to wander in different directions about the time eras of "secular" history and time eras of "Biblical" history. As the little hamster in my brain began to run faster and faster in its little wheel, God began to stir another study up in me that has lasted a few weeks. Going on four weeks to be precise because the more I studied the more and more in depth it kept taking me so I have chosen to wrap up this study and post what I have learned and what God has shown me throughout the scriptures to get the rest of you going.hmmmmm

I am certain that this study will get a vast array of responses as well as those who will totally disagree with what I share with you and those who will begin to study in more depth themselves. Some others may have another form of explanation, or possibly more light to shed upon this subject matter. Either way I always share with everyone what I feel God would have me to share by what He places in my spirit and I leave it at that, because at that point from me it has been released.

So, for those of you who read the stuff that I write, one of these days I owe you a cup of coffee cause I know that I am "long-penned". Trust me when I teach it goes a lot faster in words than as if you are reading it!

Ok, so I am certain that all of you have heard about "God's of Mt. Olympus" right? Well, as some of you may "think" that these God's were just a "myth" or a simple "fairy tale" and according to "common knowledge" only taught as "Greek Mythology" we could not be farther from the truth. You see the men who were revered as having "great stature" were real people. They had real families. They had children and they were once alive on this earth that we live in today.

While in philosophy class I learned that Socrates was alive and lived up until 399 BC. Which would mean that those who influenced his generation would have been alive somewhere around the time of Noah. This is what initiated the study of what I am about to share with you.

When we look at the history through the Bible we see where Satan was able to mimic a lot of the things that God performed through His people, but when God would perform them through willing vessels it was ordained by God. However when Satan would perform them, it was "magic or trickery" but in more simple terms it was rebellion, which was the same as witchcraft. We see this in the confrontation of Pharaoh and Moses specifically.

So, is it possible that the same would be considered about the gods of Mt. Olympus? In the instance of those such as Zeus, could he and his allies be mentioned in the Bible? Is it possible for those that have studied Christianity for so many years to overlook certain aspects of history so that today they are only addressed as "fables?" Sometimes we must be careful not to confuse the "unknown" with the "unreal."

One thing Christians have always questioned was where in the world did Cain's wife come from? What "other people" were in the land of Nod? First let's find out what the word Nod means. The Biblical name given to this city means "the land that shakes." Remember that for later purposes.

Now most of us know who Enoch was right? Ok, well if you don't, he was born out of the lineage of Seth, who was the third child born unto Adam and Eve. He was also the grand father of Noah. Not only that but when you study Enoch you realize he was the first man that God removed from the earth to take up into the Heavens with Him without actually dying (Genesis 5:24). The second man and the last man that He did this with was Elijah (II Kings 2:11). Many people believe that in the last days these are the two prophets that God will send back to the earth. I believe that myself you can read about that instance in (Revelation chapter 11).

So, here is my question since Enoch was born into a righteous bloodline and he was considered a prophet. The Bible says that he walked with God. Now unless he had kept some form of journal or writings how in the world would later Biblical prophets know of him and his story? We see in Hebrews 11:3, which is in the New Testament years and years after the life of Enoch and years and years after his generations were alive that they knew that by faith Enoch did not see death, that God had translated him. We then see in the book before Revelations in Jude 1:14 where it says that Enoch prophesied "over these" whom Jude speaks of. So how did Jude know that Enoch prophesied about "these" unless Enoch had written something? If he did write something why was such a mans revelation kept from the body of Christ and not included in the Bible, when Enoch's writings were among the first of the old saints to be found?

It is important to pay close attention to all these things as this begins to unfold, because this has been a very long study for me and it will be very detailed and I know it is going to be impossible to fit it all in one post, but I do believe that everyone will find it as interesting as I did while studying it, so hopefully you will continue to read it all. If you are not a registered reader of my blogs I ask you to do so that you don't miss the coming inserts of this study.

Now, it is important when I talk about Enoch that you don't get him confused with the Enoch that was born unto the generations of Cain. For this study I am going to use some of the information that is in the book of Enoch which is a part of the Apocrypha. I will let you know when I use that information through notation.

Now, I am not adding this text to the Bible, so those who apply that line at the end of Revelation don't freak out on me. I have my thoughts about that as well. So I might as well share them too, so you know where I stand. I also feel that a man such as Enoch was probably able to share vital information with those of us due to his walk with God. I also feel that Satan himself, not wanting us to be aware of certain things can influence men to not include important information in the studies of the Word of God. Which brings light to the verse in

John 10:10

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly."

Then God says in

Hosea 4:6

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

We must study and in doing so God will reveal things to us. How else did the old prophets and men of God learn of past events? Most of the men who wrote the great books of the Bible through the instruction of the Holy Spirit were philosophers and teachers and very well educated men before serving the Lord with all that was within' them. Many were mocked for their obedience and many were killed for their faith and instruction.

Revelation 22:18 and 19 read them carefully.

"For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and [from] the things which are written in this book."

The book of Revelation is the only book that is entirely prophetic. Each book in the Bible is considered a different book written by different men used of God. My understanding of these verses is in reference only to the book of Revelation. I say this because translators have influenced many things throughout the Bible or those who in accordance to their position in the church have added things into the original texts that were written to emphasize certain aspects. Ok, let me refocus now on the subject matter.

So, if Cain and Abel were the only ones born unto Adam and Eve where did the wife of Cain come from and who was the other people that were living? I will first share with you what the scriptures say about this, then I will share what Enoch had to say about this generation of people in comparison with the Word. But that will not come until a later blog.

In Genesis 4 we see Cain saying that he cannot withstand his punishment for killing his brother Abel. That he will be a vagabond and a fugitive that whoever finds him shall kill him. (Who was he in fear of?) The only people who were alive were his family right? Or were there others not of his bloodline? So God marked him that no "man shall kill him." It was at that point that Cain went from the presence of the Lord and dwelt in the land of Nod, where he met his wife, and bore his son Enoch.

So, who were the inhabitants of this land and when were they created? Lets' investigate shall we? When we look at Isaiah 14 we see God having a conversation with Satan before his fall.

Isaiah 14:13 says this,

"For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:"

Now, in this verse it is important to see the importance of a few key things. If he was too ascend into heaven, that would mean that he would have to go up right? Which would then therefore mean that he was on earth, on a throne, ruling over someone right? Who was this congregation and if he were ruling over a people on earth when were they created? Not only that, but why were they created?

Isaiah 14:20 says,

"Thou shalt not be joined with them in burial, because thou hast destroyed thy land, [and] slain thy people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned."

So, here we see that Satan had a seed correct? But when did God allow Satan to have a seed and if He did why did He do it? Many have not exhausted this study because of the depth and time that it takes to pray and research such information. I however was pulled in my spirit to this study and then therefore share with all, which take the time to read this the insight that God has revealed to me.

Now going back to Genesis 1:26-27

"(26)And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (27) So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

Pay attention here again God said let us make man in our image, which at the time included the angels, because Satan had not fallen yet. Or so it is not written. He does not name them Adam and Eve at this time, actually at this time Eve was not even created because He had simply created "MAN" in "our" image in reference to whom He was speaking at the time. Since Satan was known to have been the creative angel over "worship" it is unknowing to us that it is quite possible that God was speaking to Satan in verse 26. Upon the creation of man in "our" image it is possible that Satan was given authority over this creation. Next we see in verse 27 that God created man in HIS OWN image, matter of fact it states it twice when in the verse earlier it states twice OUR IMAGE. So it is quite possible that the first creation of people were born in the rule of Satan before he fell and upon the authority given to him over the people. After he looked up from "His Kingdom" as Isaiah says God struck him and his leadership, which were the "Fallen Angels". Then God realizing that those that were created in their image had chosen to follow after the ways of "Satan", He then chose to create Adam and Eve in His Own likeness. That they may choose to follow after Him which is why we see the two trees in the garden. There were two trees in the garden, one represented the tree of life and one represented the tree of death. I find it interesting here that the Bible speaks that you can tell us by our fruit. Isn't it interesting that Christ was crucified on a tree? Isn't it interesting that Satan appeared to Eve in a tree?

I believe that Adam and Eve were created after the fall of Satan who was at that point reigning over his own kingdom, which was in the land of the shaken or as the Bible specifies, the land of Nod. I believe it was at that point that God gave man a choice, either live for Him or live for Satan. Satan knew that God had created Adam and Eve and wanted to rule over his own kingdom (earth) since he knew he would never reign again in the Heavens. So he appeared before Eve in the tree of knowledge of good and evil and convinced her to eat of the "forbidden fruit". Which is what he still does to people to this day. Now, here is where it starts getting interesting. We see in Genesis 1:28 it says that God blessed them and told them to be fruitful and multiply and "REPLENISH" the earth. Why would Adam and Eve have to replenish an Earth, that had not yet been PLENISHED? Not only that but he tells them to subdue it which means to OVERPOWER, then He tells them to have dominion over the very things that He has already given man dominion over in verse 26. Why would He have to give dominion over again , unless it was a different creation? Do I have you curious yet?

When we look at Genesis chapter 3 in verse 14-15 that when Satan had entered the serpent to beguile Eve that God confronts the serpent in front of Eve.

In Genesis 14:15 God says,

"And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel."

Though many Biblical scholars teach that Satan cannot "procreate" that does not mean that seed has to be produced specifically by "giving natural birth to". God did not give natural birth to any one, but once we are "born-again" we are considered to be his through the adoption blood of Christ (See Romans 8:15/Romans 8:23/Romans 9:4/Galatians 4:5 and Ephesians 1:5).

Therefore through the servant hood of Satan, or the turning away of the faith, we become the seed of Satan as well, dying to freedom in the spirit being born into a spirit of bondage through sin. Making many people sons of Satan, or seed of Satan.

As I am typing this out, God keeps revealing more and more things to me then what I already had written, so as I continue to post each segment if I don't respond to comments it is because I am not finished posting everything yet.
