Let everything that has breath thank the Lord

That fact that we are alive, and healthy is enough reason to give God all the glory for what He is doing in our midst. How many people started this year hopeful for the best but are shockingly six feet under today? How many people had to change their lifestyle because they became unemployed and have stayed unemployed for many months? How many people who lived lavish lifestyles before now have lost their wealth and are now victims of poverty? Talk less of those that came under so much persecution and lost their lives or body parts because of the gospel that many of us take for granted. I can go on and on but I am sure these are enough reasons to provoke you to begin thanking God unconditionally.
When I think of where the Lord has brought me, my loved ones, friends and MannaEXPRESSOnline from, I cannot help but shout, THANK YOU JESUS! If it had not been the Lord on our side, when trials, tribulations, affliction and oppression almost overpowered us, where would we be? We need to maintain a thankful attitude.
If our earthly father does something that pleases us, the way we shower him with gratitude makes him want to do more for us; how much more will our heavenly Father perform for us, if we shower him with love? He takes pleasure in the praises of His people. Let us strive to delight Him with our steady outpour of gratitude.
When my older son was two months old, we went to see my friend who was visiting from Canada. I arrived at the beautiful subdivision she was staying in and came across two houses. Since my cell phone battery was dead, there was no way for me to call her and verify the exact house that she was in. I pulled into the first house I saw and was eager to rush out and ring the door bell. The Holy Spirit cautioned me not to leave my child in his car seat for the brief moment it would have taken to see if I was in the right house.
After ringing the bell, as God will have it, my friend opened the door. I cannot begin to express the joy and relief I felt when I saw her. We walked into the house chatting casually, when suddenly we heard a frantic knock on the door. It was her next door neighbor who alerted my friend that my car had rolled down the hill and crashed into a huge tree. Eventually, when I got to see the car and how totaled the back of it was, I thanked God for not allowing His holy one to see corruption. What if I left my baby for two minutes in the car and rung the bell? I hate to think of what would have happened.
I just want to thank God for what he did on that day and many other days. He has been too good to me and my loved ones. I want to thank Him also for the wonderful team of people He sent to support this vision. Words cannot express the extent I marvel at his steadfast love that has not ceased even for a second. I thank you dear Lord, for everything you have done and do in my life despite my sins and short comings. But for You, I cannot dare to dream of where I would be today. Thank you for my family and friends. Thank you for MannaEXPRESSOnline newspaper. Thank you for your faithfulness, your hand of power and the robe of your glory that envelopes all that concerns me on a daily basis. Thank you for the economy and everything that has breath.
May your praise remain on my lips at all times. Blessed be your name almighty Jehovah.
I can go on and on thanking the Lord and eternity will meet me still thanking Him. I will stop now and encourage you to thank the Lord. It is well with all of us, in the name of Jesus.
