Devil or Angel?
by PamFord Davis
3/01/2010 / Devotionals
What do you think the devil looks like? Do you visualize a lanky man dressed in red, complete with horns, and a tail? Costume designers keep that idea in circulation. I can't understand why anyone would want to be identified with Satan, but those outfits continue to be popular for both children and adults.
The Bible gives us a totally different story. "And it is no wonder. Even Satan tries to make himself look like an angel of light. So why does it seem strange for Satan's servants to pretend to do what is right? Someday they will get exactly what they deserve (2 Corinthians 11:14-15 CEV)." Satan tries to deceive us and see him as an angel of light. Devil or angel? Beware, test the spirits. (1 John 4:1)
