Some people don't have sense enough to come out of the rain. Parents often share such words of wisdom with the young. They are teaching their children to think for themselves, weighing decisions and actions carefully before rushing in to disaster.
Our heavenly Father is given many such opportunities to warn us. In love He desires to lead us away from foolish mistakes. "Only a fool would say, there is no God (Psalm 14:1a CEV)." Don't rush. Take your time and consider your future. "Fools think they know what is best, but a sensible person listens to advice (Proverbs 12:15 CEV)." Slow down. Take baby steps of faith. You'll never be sorry. Jesus waits at the end of your journey.
