' And while He yet spoke............Judas, one of the twelve went before them and drew near unto Jesus to kiss Him.' Luke 22:47
The kiss the baby receives is for his innocence.
The kiss the youngster gets is for the affection.
The kiss of the loved one is for the love and love alone.
The kiss of the parent is for the care and the well being.
The kiss of the grand parents is for the tenderness of one's own.
The kiss you give to Jesus, is it to betray Him?
That's what you do to Him, whenever you commit a sin.
It can be as simple as a lie, told to cover another one.
It can be a mere hate, which simmers up your throat.
It can be as humble as a smile, hiding a conspiracy behind.
It can be as smooth as a thought, which is evil throughout.
It can be as discreet as cheating which in your wisdom think it's clean.
Kiss Jesus, because He is your Friend,
A Friend you are proud to be with.
Kiss Jesus, because He is the Light,
A Light to the World, for His gift of Eternal Life.
Kiss Jesus, because He is the Ultimate Sacrifice,
One who gave His own Life to you.
Kiss Jesus, because He is the Perfection,
The All Powerful Awesome and the Great One.
Kiss Jesus, because He is the Son of God,
Only through Him, you enter the Kingdom of God.
Kiss Jesus not to betray Him,
But to Love, Glorify and Praise Him.
