MANAGING STRESS WHEN YOU ARE ALONE

Every once in a while, you may find that you are all alone in your stressful situation. This may be because you have no one you can fully confide in about your situation or you may feel that you are protecting the people you love by not telling them your problems because you know that they already have enough problems of their own. Or your stressful situation may have isolated you and you may find that no one wants to be associated with you. Or, you may be faced by a sudden, urgent crisis in which you don't have time to reach out to anyone.

Whatever your circumstances, do not give up on yourself and on your stressful situation just because you are all alone. Pray for yourself and God will answer you for He assures us that You will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. (Jeremiah 29: 12-13)

Even if you have brought the stressful situation on yourself, pray with confidence for We do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Hebrews 4: 15-16)
