Did you have a favorite love song when you were dating, one you referred to as our song? It still brings back memories of a car radio, juke-box, or sock hops. Years come and go, but we never forget our never ending song of love. It has our name stamped on the lyrics and has been sealed with a kiss. Sing along and rekindle your love.
The Song of Songs written by Solomon is a love song between him and his bride. It is like a game of musical chairs. They each take turns in the seat and sing words of praise and adoration. "Love is as strong as death. Passion is as strong as the grave. Its sparks become a flame, and it grows to become a great fire! A flood cannot put out love. Rivers cannot drown love. Would people despise a man for giving everything he owns for love (Song of Songs 8:6b-7 ERV)." The love between husband and wife is sacred. Rejoice!
