Who teaches your children? The first response may not be a complete answer. Most parents rely on trained personnel in the public school system without giving it a second thought. Others place their children in private schools or make the commitment to home-school. We want our children and grandchildren to receive the best education possible, in preparation for adulthood.
Education does not begin or end with the three R's. There is a danger of leaving out the most needed training. "Always remember these commands that I give you today. Be sure to teach them to your children. Talk about these commands when you sit in your house and when you walk on the road. Talk about them when you lie down and when you get up (Deuteronomy 6:6-7 ERV)."
What are His commands?
#1 Love the Lord your God with all your heart.
#2 Love the Lord your God with all your soul.
#3 Love the Lord your God with all your strength.
Teach your children well.
