We have a tendency to say the wrong thing. Sometimes it is comical and embarrassing. I remember going through a drive-through fast food line with my daughter April in the car. After placing our take-out order, the clerk asked if we would like anything else. I cheerfully replied, "No, that's be all." I said something stupid and my daughter and I chuckled about it every time we remembered.
If our speech is based on wrong belief, that is no laughing matter. "Only fools think there is no God. People like that are evil and do terrible things. They never do what is right. The Lord looks down from heaven to see if there is anyone who is wise, anyone who looks to him for help. But everyone has gone the wrong way. Everyone has turned bad. No one does anything good. No, not one person (Psalm 14:3 ERV)!" Many considered wise by worldly standards make a stupid decision and reject Christ.
