Your are overworked and simply overwhelmed,
By work, that your job, your ambitious aim takes,
That you have little time for devotion.
That quiet time which you will have none,
To read the Bible, meditate and pray,
So do what you can do; write Bible verses,
And Jot prayer needs, these spiritual jottings nourish you,
For which you don't need abundant time.
Strengthen your devotion, for fulfilling that adage,
Prayer without ceasing, when pressing needs get in your way.
