Looking For Love (In All The Wrong Places)
by Pam Ford Davis 8/26/2010 / Devotionals
I hate losing things, and get very irritated when they show up precisely where they belong. I waste my time looking in all the wrong places; keys are a major cause of stress. If I didn't know better, I'd suspect they enjoy hiding from me.
Unfortunately, we are prone to look for love in all the wrong places. We try to fill a void with surface relationships, or foolishly expect others to provide love and acceptance found only through a personal relationship with Christ.
"Stay within the boundaries where God's love can reach and bless you. Wait patiently for the eternal life that our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy is going to give you (Jude 21 The Book, Living Bible)."
