In church with psalms and sermons and hymns sung soulfully,
I worship.
With news of war abounding and nations at unrest,
I worship.
In days of ordinariness with work and household chores,
I worship.
In times of brightest sunshine or nature's fiercest storms,
I worship.
Through threat of foreign terrorists and dangers yet unknown,
I worship.
In hours of celebration spent with those I cherish most,
I worship.
With warnings of disease widespread and crises yet to come,
I worship.
With tithe and offerings given and with help to those in need,
I worship.
In deepest disappointment or when sorrow weighs me down,
I worship.
At home with Bible in my hand and prayers within my heart,
I worship.
With thankfulness for blessings rich, and peace and joy and hope,
I worship.
I could never worship God enough for all He's done for me,
But when He calls me home, I'll worship through eternity.
