It Is Time To Settle The Debate Over God Favoring Israel Today!

by Bob Butler

I was reading a post where the question was asked: "is God still favoring Israel"? The answer is no! Here are my reasons for this answer.

If you studied the Talmud you would see several references to Jesus Christ, none of which is flattering. The reoccurring theme is that all non-Jewish peoples are beast, less then human. The elitist view of the Zionist Jews is so repugnant that no one of any intelligence would accept those teachings to come from God. It is on these writings that Zionism bases their beliefs and what motivates them to action in the way they have done. Jesus denounced the teachings as from their father, satan. These are pretty strong words coming from Jesus and it is not a surprise that the Jews hate Him, especially the Zionist Jews. God hates the Gnostic and mystical teachings of the Talmud that he speaks of it in Revelation as a damnable belief (see the letters to the seven churches). God does not favor people that reject His Son, nor His law of righteousness. Rightly was it said that: "For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision which is outward in the flesh: but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God." Romans 2:28-29 (ASV)
God favors this kind of Jew not the kind that forces his agenda on others.

The second observation is from Jesus again when he was accused of casting out devils by the devil. His response was to remind them that a house divided against itself will not stand. This brings us to the Church and Israel. If God is for Israel, that bases it's beliefs on a book that rejects Christianity then He is divided against Himself and will not survive. He can not be for Israel who rejects Jesus Christ and for the Church that loves Him. That would not work. At this time He is for the Church as long as it retains its stand for Christ. We need to, as a Church, to search out the scriptures and study so that we may rightly divide the Word of Truth.

Another question was raised about the Jews who were not Jews as seen in Revelation: ("I know thy tribulation, and thy poverty (but thou art rich), and the blasphemy of them that say they are Jews, and they art not, but are a synagogue of Satan." Rev 2:9 (ASV). To be a true Jew is to be circumcised in the heart (see statement mentioned above) then these jews of revelation can not be true Jews. They wear the mantle of being Jewish but deny the very essence of what that is. Again it brings us back to the Talmud. The Zionist Jews reject the Torah as being authoritative. They turn instead to the traditions of men found in the Talmud. Jesus rejects these traditions: "And he said unto them, Well did Isaiah prophesy of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honoreth me with their lips, But their heart is far from me. But in vain do they worship me, Teaching as their doctrines the precepts of men. Ye leave the commandment of God, and hold fast the tradition of men. And he said unto them, Full well do ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your tradition." Mark 7:6-9 (ASV) Again God can not favor what Jesus has condemned.

By these three observations we can see plainly that if God favored the Zionist Jews, who are not Jews, then He would be fighting against Himself and it will fall. God is omniscient (all knowing) and would not make that mistake. God does protect the faithful that love Him even if they live in Israel and will protect Israel for their sake, but that does not imply that He favors all Israel. Let this settle the debate in your minds. God will honor His Church until she is taken away then He will turn His attention again towards Israel.
