Jesus, The Good Shepherd
by boatrocker Gilmore
11/21/2010 / Poetry
Born in sin, we are like lost sheep that 's been herded by Satan.
We walk around aimlessly like a sleepwalker that needs awaken.
A choice must be made to continue in sin or become Holy like our creator.
We must decide to live with Jesus as his friend or die in ours sins as a traitor.
Who the Father sets free is free indeed-why live in fear?
Why continue to walk on a muddy path when Jesus' way is clear?
It's God's will that no man perish but that all may come into the knowledge of knowing him.
Man has to choose obedience that leads to paradise or sin that leads to hell, with the condemned.
Jesus is the way, the truth and the life no man comes to the Father except through him.
We can stand on a solid rock with our King Jesus or continue in sin drowning unable swim.
God so love the world that he gave is only begotten son that whosoever believes in him should not perish but live.
By accepting Jesus as our Lord and Savior, all of our sins we have committed against him, he is able to forgive.
Let us be wise and follow Jesus, the Good Shepherd until our earthly lives end.
Let us be transformed from a beast into a Child of God having a Heavenly home to stay in.
