Expectant mothers knit sweaters, booties, bonnets and blankets; aglow they busy themselves as God knits the child in the womb. "For thou didst form my inward parts; Thou didst weave me in my mother's womb (Psalm 139:13 NAS)." Baby clothes are soft and cuddly but cannot compare to the warmth of the womb.
Birth is a miracle; the birth of Jesus displayed the power of the trinity. "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy offspring shall be called the Son of God (Luke 1:35 NAS)."
God instantly became man; Almighty God favored Mary, chose her to bear the burden bearer. Could it be His kicks were a result of the Father's weaving? In the fullness of time, the Creator smiled upon the arrival of the Son.
He sent out angels to deliver birth announcements, triumphantly hurling a dazzling star across the darkness as a brilliant diamond. The angels' news foreshadowed an even greater announcement; He has risen! (Matthew 28:6)
