Our attitudes and actions are not always easy to believe. We may be correct and firm in our convictions, but others react with total shock and disapproval. "Have you lost your mind"? Sometimes we need a good sarcastic slap of words to wake us up. We are not making rational decisions and those who love us hold us accountable.

The Apostle Paul frequently seemed harsh, yet led by the Lord he got to the heart of the problem. Our belief system needs frequent maintenance and at times a total makeover. "Do not be misled: 'Bad company corrupts good character'. Come back to your senses as you ought, and stop sinning; for there are some who are ignorant of God - I say this to your shame (1 Corinthians 15:33-34 NAS)." A mind is easily knocked off balance and out of whack; I'll follow Paul's wise advice and return to my senses!
