Another Year, A Twist of Fate

Another year of episodes, have passed and gone,
Leaving mixed memories, that will forever linger on.
Time goes by so quickly, and many do recall,
Several joyful experiences, some as bitter as gall.

These unrecoverable moments, should teach you many things,
If you seriously learn the lessons, that life experience brings.
Reflections sometimes, make you think and shudder,
When you glimpse at the past, with lights that barely flicker.

Each day passed by, leaving various impressions on your heart,
Some were joyous; others shattered your hopes at all cost.
There were clowns jumping around, attracting crowds everywhere,
While others go about their lives as though they don't even care.

A year of reflection, could create moments of fitful laughter,
Thinking of the incredible experiences, you shared and encountered.
While interacting with others, of various humorous characters,
Acting on this stage of life, as they go round on roller coasters.

Some made great contributions to your livelihood,
While others were masqueraders, and up to no good.
They sought their own interest, yet pretended to care,
While their simple minds were stuck, on their own personal affair

Some situations you faced, successfully built your courage,
And made you stronger, while our Father, took care of all the baggage,
Which He exchanged for grace, to take you along the way,
As you willingly released your burden, and stopped allowing it to stay.

Other experiences caused you to tremble with doubt and fear,
As their overwhelming power created such a murky atmosphere.
This Sometimes made it so difficult, and challenging to pray,
But thank God for Jesus, who is always the light along the way.

Now it is time again, to focus on another year ahead,
With lively hope, not forgetting, Jesus is your trusted friend.
Forget about the scars and pain, which the enemy has vindictively inflicted,
And think of the eternal joy and peace, which cannot be outdated.

Remember, Our God, The Lord of Host, is more than able,
To take all the burdens, you definitely cannot handle.
Willingly turn to Him, for all the answers,
And wait patiently for the reply, to see what he offers.

So Happy Birthday to you, who are blessed to see this day.
Enjoy each moment, as you journey another year of life's pathway.
Remember there are others, who have been lost along the way,
So let your light shine as a beacon, daily keeping watch, as you pray.
